Financial Literacy Month is in November and the Credit Counselling Society is excited to host a variety of activities, workshops, webinars and a contest to help increase money management skills of Canadians.

Contest for Grade School & High School Students
How would you teach kids about money?
Are you under 18 years old and have an opinion on what kids need to know about money?
Do you know someone who is under 18 years who could benefit from an RESP contribution?
To enter the contest all a student who is 18 years of age or younger needs to do is write a short essay telling us how they think kids should be taught about money. Then send simply email your essay to us by October 12, 2012.
Criteria:
The contest will be judged by a panel of industry experts. They will be looking for the following:
· Can your idea be used across Canada? (maximum 40 points)
· Originality and creativity (maximum 40 points)
· Idea is clearly presented and communicated (maximum 20 points)
Prizes:
1st Prize: $2,500 RESP + an iPad
2nd Prize: $1,500 RESP + an iPod
3rd Prize: $1,000 RESP + an iPod Touch
