A raccoon sits sprawled out above a computer in the Canton Area Elementary School Library.
On the other side of the room, a black bear looks like it's getting ready to climb.
Did someone forget to shut the door last night?
No, the raccoon and the bear didn't sneak into the library after-hours.
Rather, they're mounted specimens that are some of the newest additions to "The Canton Area Elementary School Wildlife Project" taxidermy permanent exhibit.
There's also two taxidermy wood duck specimens and a mounted crow that have been added recently.
"I guess I'm the keeper of the animals," says Canton Area Elementary School Librarian Jean Richards with a smile.
