Status of Women Canada is launching a call for proposals to solicit funding applications for "Setting the Stage for Girls and Young Women to Succeed" projects that promote equality for girls and young women in Canada. The projects must engage girls and young women in leadership roles or strengthen their economic prosperity. The deadline for applications is August 10.
The purpose of this Call for Proposals is to solicit funding applications for projects that promote equality for girls and young women in Canada and support their advancement in two priority areas: leadership and decision-making roles; and economic security and prosperity. These projects include a number of predetermined elements that eligible organizations must address in their proposals. The projects under this Call for Proposals fall into one of two thematic areas:
· Engaging girls and young women in leadership roles
· Strengthening girls' and young women's economic prosperity
