The Premier's Award for Healthy Workplaces is a Government of Alberta awards program that recognizes workplaces for excellence in workplace wellness. The award program is open to all Alberta workplaces, including, but not limited to, businesses, municipalities, schools, health regions, not-for-profit organizations and government departments. It features three categories based on the number of employees in the workplace. Small: 1 – 99 employees, medium 100 - 999 employees and large 1000+ employees. It recognizes efforts to promote healthy eating, active living, safe environments and more.
